• Study and Survey

After many years of meeting the educational needs of the Freeman School District, an outside team of structural, mechanical, electrical and architectural experts have found a number of inadequacies in the condition of district facilities. According to the Study and Survey of Freeman School District facilities completed in December 2007, the high school and elementary school urgently need improvements in order to provide an adequate educational environment. The study also points to the need to improve campus-wide student pedestrian and transportation safety.

The major objective for the Study and Survey is the development of a long range school facility improvement plan addressing existing facility conditions and projected future needs. Washington state public schools are required to complete a Study and Survey to qualify for state assistance in financing school construction projects.
